The Pools Park

The real centerpiece of the facility is the Piscine Park, a very large green area , with lawns, shaded areas, paths and relaxation spaces.

Inside are three pools fed by thermo-mineral water from the "Santa Lucia" spring, which gushes out at a constant temperature of about 24°C and boasts properties beneficial to the skin:
💙Large pool with waterfall (33 × 15 m): accessible to both camp guests and day visitors; has a large solarium, umbrellas, sun loungers and toilets.

💙Pool reserved for campers (33 × 15 m): a somewhat quieter area designed for those staying at the facility, with lawn around and relaxation areas.

💙Children's pool with slides (20 × 12 m): also usable by campers and outside visitors, ideal for children, with gradual depth and water games.

The pools do not use recycled water, but pure thermal spring water, untreated with heavy additives, to ensure freshness and beneficial properties.

Thanks to this dual accessibility (both for those staying and for those who come just for the day), the Pool Park also becomes a reference point for those who are not staying at the campground but wish to spend a few hours immersed in thermal wellness.

The accommodations

The facility offers various accommodation options:
- about sixty spacious mobile homes, accommodating up to six people, equipped with full kitchen, bathroom and air conditioning, to ensure comfort and independence;
- four glamping Coco Suite model glamping tents, with two rooms and fully equipped kitchen, perfect for those seeking a more nature-based experience, without sacrificing practicality and safety, as they are close to the service block with bathrooms and showers.

Activities for children

At Piscine Park, children find spaces and moments designed just for them. The kids club, active from age 3 and up, offers games, creative workshops and outdoor activities supervised by qualified, multilingual animators.

A equipped playground with slides and swings is also available for the little ones.

The camping-village offers many activities for young and old: from water aerobics and aqua Zumba to games on the sports fields for soccer, tennis, basketball and volleyball.
There is no shortage of tournaments, table tennis challenges, and evenings with music and DJ sets.

Restaurant

The Bar delle Piscine is the focal point throughout the day: from breakfast with brioche and coffee, to quick lunches with pizzas, sandwiches and salads, to afternoon snacks and ice cream. In the evening it becomes a convivial place to stop for a drink or dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.

Meals can be enjoyed indoors, in the open-air spaces surrounded by greenery, or poolside, with the convenience of having everything within walking distance of the village's pools and accommodations.

At Parco delle Piscine, caring for the environment is a core value.
Parco delle Piscine is an EMAS-certified camping-village, the first in Italy as of 2004, and therefore constantly striving to improve its environmental efficiency and performance and reduce pollution. Parco delle Piscine is constantly complying with legal standards and therefore undergoes annual audits to verify the operation of the environmental management system.
Key points of the environmental management of the campground is the proper management of water resources, with the dual objectives of:
ensuring that the naturalness of the site and springs is maintained by employing hypothermal water that flows from the springs, is used in the pools, and then naturally drained downstream while maintaining the quantity and quality of the resource;
minimizing consumption when, for natural reasons of groundwater availability, the resource is not naturally available.
In addition, the camp directs its activities in order to:
carry out its activity in a safe and responsible manner that does not pollute the environment or pose a danger to employees, customers and the local community
continuously adapt equipment, substances used, activities and services to the latest innovations in order to limit environmental impact;
control and reduce consumption of energy resources;
improve the management of waste produced;
include the environmental component in all decision-making processes and in the management of relations with third parties for activities not directly controlled;
Involve customers, suppliers, contractors and the local community in greater attention to environmental protection

The surroundings

The surroundings offer a rich and fascinating cultural and natural framework: the historic village of Sarteano with its castle, archaeological museum, Etruscan tombs and churches to visit. During the summer, guided walking tours are organized within the village.

The central location also makes it easy to reach other renowned locations such as Chianciano, Chiusi, Siena, Florence and even Rome, all within a short drive.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the area is perfect for mountain biking excursions and offers horseback riding centers nearby.
