Apartments and Glamping

The Curatolo family has renovated the historic baglio, converting the former warehouses and farmhouses into comfortable apartments: studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments that accommodate 2 to 7 people, plus glamping—tents equipped with all the comforts, for those who want to sleep under the stars without sacrificing anything. Each unit has a kitchen or kitchenette, a bathroom, and air conditioning.

The Apartments in the Baglio

Converted from the original spaces of the baglio—former warehouses, stables, and farmhouses—the apartments at Duca di Castelmonte all have a story to tell through their stone walls, rustic furnishings, and exposed beams.
But the amenities are modern: air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, and linens and towels included.
The accommodations are designed for families of various sizes: the studios (15–16 m²) accommodate two people, the two-room apartments (25–30 m²) accommodate up to three adults with a double bed, two single beds, and a sofa bed; the three-room apartments (40–50 m²) accommodate up to five people with two separate bedrooms—ideal for families with several children or for those who want plenty of space.
Every morning, you’ll find everything you need for breakfast in your room: milk, coffee, tea, cookies, and homemade jams made by the family. The property is fully accessible to guests with disabilities.

Glamping: Sleeping Among the Olive Trees Under the Sicilian Sky

For those looking for something different—or for children who dream of sleeping “in a tent” without their parents having to sacrifice comfort—the Duca di Castelmonte also offers glamping.
The fully equipped tents are nestled among the estate’s olive trees, surrounded by greenery and silence, with a view that transforms into an unforgettable starry sky at night.
Inside, you’ll find everything you need: a double bed, a single bed, a bunk bed, and a sofa bed (sleeping up to 4 people), a kitchen, and a private bathroom with a shower. The nighttime breeze—as guests say—is so cool that you’ll want to sleep under a blanket even in the summer. An experience worth the trip on its own, especially for children.

Ideal location for exploring Western Sicily

The agriturismo is located just 5 km from the center of Trapani and 8 km from Erice.
From here, you can easily reach the salt flats with their windmills, the Stagnone Nature Reserve, and the Phoenician island of Mozia; San Vito Lo Capo with its white-sand beaches; the Zingaro Nature Reserve; and Segesta with its Greek temple.
Ferries depart from the port of Trapani for Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo, and Pantelleria.

Activities for Kids

What do the kids do all day? A whole lot. The outdoor playground, the pool, and the tennis, soccer, basketball, and beach volleyball courts are all available—but the real attraction is the farm: peacocks, horses, pets, and farmyard animals that they can meet, observe, and pet.
The resort also organizes, with a minimum number of children, farm-style cooking workshops: where they make tomato sauce and bake bread in a wood-fired oven, and the little ones work side by side with their families. It’s a wonderful way to learn where food comes from.

Vegetables from the garden, extra virgin olive oil produced on the estate, and homemade preserves and jams: these are the staples of the restaurant and agripizzeria. The
